I purchased a green dot visa card, to which I put $400 on. Got home only to try time and time again to activate the card, each time it saying card invalid.

I went back and was told they could not give me back my money, I demanded to speak to a manager, which nobody seemed to know how to get ahold of a manager. Finally got a manager on the phone, she told me I could call customer service in the store, and she would come void and refund me, but not until in the morning. I didn't realize casey's was a bank, holding customers money. I came back this morning, the manager was in her car on her phone smoking a cigarette, so I said I would come back.

Came back, and then was told, very rudely, they do not do refunds, ever. That the employees have been told not to load money on cards anymore, because they do not work. So why are the cards still out for people to purchase!? $400 gone!

Nobody seems to know what to do, then get treated like I'm disgusting for wanting my money back.

This is the worst casey's I've ever been to. Extremely poor management and extremely rude employees

Monetary Loss: $403.

Preferred solution: I want a refund and an apology. I am so appalled, I will be contacting law enforcement and my lawyer, this is theft! $400!.

Caseys General Stores Cons: Especially the employees and management.

Location: North Liberty, Iowa

You demanded to speak to a manager. I guess your parents never taught you manners.

Please is a word to use. You are old enough to drive and yet you are too foolish to know the difference between rude and being told that they cannot do something. Besides you said that you demanded to speak to a manager.

Demanding is a rude behavior hypocrite. You treated them like they are disgusting when you made demands rather than ask politely for your money back.
